I was born in Galatzi, a city on the left shore of the Danube, Romania, as sole son of Jeanette and Constantin Calude. I was educated at "Vasile Alecsandri" National College in Galatzi and the University of Bucharest. In 1992 my family moved to Auckland, a city with beautiful flowers (particularly roses) and skies. In 2010 New Zealand was ranked 3rd best place in the world to live in.
